Tutoring fits me like a glove 

I am a qualified teacher with a lot of experience teaching Dutch to native speaking children as well as spouses of Dutchmen in London (UK), Dubai (UAE), Caracas (Ven), Chicago (USA) and Durban (SA).I also worked as a volunteer for ‘Taal aan Zee’ in Den Haag, teaching Dutch to refugees.  
Having been an expat myself, I have experienced first hand several difficulties and challenges expats and their families can face concerning day-to-day situations even in well organized countries, like The Netherlands. So, apart from teaching Dutch I will also help you understand and get along with the Dutch culture and its habits. All in all this will help you in your everyday life, e.g. going shopping, visiting places of interest, reading notices and understanding written Dutch communication, being able to talk with your neighbors and integrate into the Dutch society: to participate in Dutch sport/society clubs, understand the latest news and current events through social media.
My interests are sports (tennis, pilates, cycling on my elliptigo, hiking), photography, traveling, reading and writing.
